API WAVES®

We transform knowledge into waves. Since 1968: Precision wave technology.

Wave generation through periodic air pressure fluctuations in wave chambers enables unsurpassed advantages compared to other wave generation methods:

  • Flexible engine room design

  • No moving parts in the water

  • 100% usable water surface (no wave generators in the water)

  • Very low additional forces on the concrete structure

  • Maintenance possible during system operation

  • Wave heights from 0.90 to 1.30 m; up to 2.50 m in special pools

  • Up to 8 different wave patterns

  • Engineering & Manufacturing “Made in Germany” means energy efficiency, long service life and low maintenance costs for you.

  • Additional attractions for maximum experience quality:

    • LED WATER JET ∙ Illuminated inflow nozzles with RGBW control

    • PLAY & SPRAY BEACH ∙ Interactive water choreographies

API WAVES® & API SURGE SYSTEMS

FROM A SPORTS AND DIVING POOL TO A WAVE POOL IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES

Combine leisure and sports pool!

The advantages

  1. The combination of API WAVES with an API surge system enables the multiple use of one and the same water surface as a wave pool, sports pool, diving pool and plunge pool.

  2. Optionally, a movable floor expands the multiple use to include activities such as aqua gymnastics, children's swimming, and baby swimming.

  3. The bathers do not have to leave the pool during the water level change.

  4. The fast surge time ensures good water hygiene.

How does it work?

  1. Lowering the water level by gravity to the wave water level

  2. Water storage during wave operation in the surge tank, e.g., arranged below the beach area.

  3. Raising the water level to the sport water level with the help of the API surge system in less than 5 minutes after wave operation.

API WAVES® in Lazy Rivers

Multiple API WAVES generate waves up to 0.90m high in a Lazy River that is several hundred meters long.

Water depth 0.90m, width 4.0m.
